My first Swiss watch was an Oris, and ever since then, I’ve been a fan of Oris. Even though I have several sports watches (Two of them being Breitling and Suunto) I wanted to purchase another one. I decided on the Oris TT3 Chronograph, and I’m so happy I did.
In order to appreciate the TT3 Chronograph by Oris, you have to wear it. Thanks to its titanium casing, it’s very lightweight, making it very comfortable to wear. Due the lining of a rubber strap, the watch also feels warm around your wrist. When I wear my Breitling, in comparison, I feel like I’m wearing a shackle.

Another great quality of the Oris TT3 is its dial. It’s made of carbon fiber with chronograph functionality. The TT3’s dial is both captivating as well as classical. This dial should really stand the tests of time. A dials design should be elegant but subtle, which is how the TT3 was designed. The dial is not too big and not to small at 42.5 mm. IT has a clean design with large hands to easily read the time. The hands are silver pointers and some of the indices are painted red. This combination of silver, black and red is pure class.
At the 6 and 12 o’clock position are two sub dials. They are two additional minute and second counters for the chronographs’ function. All three of the chronograph hands are painted red at the tips.
The only criticism I can give to the Oris TT3 Chronograph is the lack of a second hand. The second hand is similar to the beating heart of a watch, and that’s a quality I do like to see. Without a second hand, it can make checking the exact time and movement accuracy a bit more difficult. Instead of using a second hand, I have to estimate partial minutes by seeing the distances between the minute hand and its markers.

With a rubber strap on a classic watch like the TT3, it adds a very sexy look to it. The straps give the watch a very sharp-edged look because they are so eye catching. With a strap, you can instantly change the strap size, by moving the pin to any other hole. The titanium strap is optional for this model number, but in my opinion, I feel the watch would lose some of its appeal without the strap. The titanium fangs coupled together with the black rubber carbon fiber really give this watch an awesome look.

The Oris TT3 is truly a timeless, beautiful and sleek watch. I feel it’s an incredible sports watch that will last the true tests of time. I have had my Oris TT3 for a few months now and I love it- my old Breitling watch hasn’t seen the light of day since I bought it.
